Remembrance Sunday: Sunday 8th November 2026
The Town of Southwold warmly invites residents and visitors to join the community for Remembrance Sunday on Sunday 8th November 2026, to honour the service and sacrifice of all those who have served in the Armed Forces and remember those who gave their lives in times of conflict.
A united service will be held at St Edmund’s Church, starting at 10.50am, with the Act of Remembrance taking place at 11am.
Members of Southwold Town Council and local organisations will parade from the Market Place at 10.30am to the War Memorial on Bartholomew Green, where wreaths will be laid in tribute to the fallen.
All are welcome to attend and join in this important act of remembrance as we come together to reflect, pay our respects and ensure that their courage and sacrifice are never forgotten.
