Wheelchairs and Mobility Scooter Hire

To help you get around town you can hire wheelchairs and mobility scooters from:

During the summer it’s possible to hire a beach wheelchair which has larger tyres that makes travelling across the sand easier, contact beach.wheelchairs@eastsuffolk.gov.uk or call 01502 586167 for more details.

Disabled Parking

The car park in front of Southwold Pier has specific spaces for blue badge holders. Other car parks are unlined, so whilst disabled motorists will be able to use them, there are not defined spaces allocated and the surface may not be smooth as the lined car park at the Pier.
