Pete Letanka and the Caped Crusaders Sextet
The sextet is led by British/South African jazz pianist and composer, Pete Letanka. His arrangements of Ibrahim’s compositions will take you on a musical journey from the struggles of the apartheid years to the euphoria of finding common ground and healing.
As an ambassador for Ronnie Scott’s Club, The National Youth Jazz Orchestra, Junior Glyndebourne and The Royal Opera House, Pete Letanka’s charismatic work is a treasured memory for all who have had the pleasure to be a part of it. This is a welcome return to Southwold Jazz Club for Pete, following a sell-out performance in February 2022.
