The Crown has a warmth and an immediate familiarity – you just know many a happy guest has been welcomed here before.

Downstairs the antique oak tables, the traditional pub settles and the old artwork creates a heritage feel. This is complimented by a menu that never fails to delight with delicious new dishes dependant on the season, and an extensive wine list to match.

This Georgian coaching inn has 14 cosy bedrooms, perfectly positioned on Southwold marketplace, which makes The Crown an excellent base from which to explore the town and the county.
