Southwold Railway Trust
For 50 years a steam railway ran between Southwold and Halesworth, it closed in 1929. We are recreating the steam experience and promoting the memory of that railway.
Our site on Blyth Road houses our 3ft gauge steam locomotive, miniature railway, cafe and shop. We open to visitors on a number of Sundays throughout the year, dates are on our website. We also welcome volunteers to assist with our projects, please get in touch to find out more.
