The Geography Fieldwork Academy (GFA) is an independent, outdoor education provider who deliver practical fieldwork courses within Southwold. The GFA provides environmental consultancy services, creates educational media content and coordinates a range of outdoor education projects within the community.

The GFA is based in the Old Hospital in Southwold, a modern and large teaching facility which is suitable for multiple uses and is available to be hired at weekends and school holidays.
