World Oceans Day
As World Oceans Day approaches, we’re excited to invite you to a special event to mark the occasion—a plog run led by The Coastline Runner, Luke Douglas-Home. Taking place on 8 June 2025, the run will begin at Southwold Pier and finish in Lowestoft, covering approximately 17 km of stunning shoreline.
Whether you’d like to participate in the run, join us along the route, or simply come and show your support, your presence would mean a great deal!
Starting at Southwold Pier, and the finish is at RC St Marys Primary School, Lowestoft.

The goal of this event is to raise awareness about the importance of clean and healthy coastlines—and we would be honoured to have your support. Whether you’d like to participate in the run, join us along the route, or simply come and show your support, your presence would mean a great deal—especially as we look to deepen community engagement in Southwold around the issue of coastline pollution.
