Southwold Street Festival is a free day of fun for families, visitors and local residents
The Street Festival is a colourful, joyful celebration along the High Street and the Market Square.
A children’s fancy dress parade, led by a local Samba Band, launches an afternoon of live music, market stalls, food and drink.
Local shops and restaurants spill out onto the pavements and the market square is crammed with a capacity audience enjoying the free music.
On a dray, provided by Adnams, local folk bands, a community choir, sea shanty men, a local brass band, a Ukes orchestra and a professional band provide the packed afternoon’s programme.
