Red Comet is a contemporary coming-of-age comedy-drama following two best friends through their final year of high school. One is guided by logic, the other by emotion, as they navigate unspoken feelings, diverging ambitions, and the inevitability of change. Centered around a rebuilt car as a metaphor for legacy and forward motion, the play blends humour, tension, and quiet intimacy. With naturalistic dialogue and a bittersweet yet hopeful tone, Red Comet explores friendship, identity, and the difficult choices that come with growing up, asking what, and who, is truly worth holding on to.
