Art at The Canteen
Art exhibition at The Canteen Southwold of exceptional, colourful linocut prints by artist Clare Curtis.
Clare’s work reflects her passion for British 20th century art and although the subject matter may vary, her love of plants, gardens and coastal environments means they invariably find their way into her work.
Clare is chiefly a lino cutter, but also produces lithographs and screen prints. She uses traditional printing methods – plates, blocks and screens are drawn or cut by hand and each colour is printed separately to create a distinctive, original artwork.
The art exhibition will run from 1st April – 29th June, and Clare’s artwork and greeting cards will be available to purchase.
